This listing is for the upper unit (2nd and 3rd floors) of a nearly 2,500 sq. ft. home. I reside on the 1st floor in a separate unit. Bedrooms: -- 2nd Floor: Bedrooms 1 and 2 (Includes remote operated LED lights with bladeless fans) -- 3rd Floor: Bedroom 3 (includes remote operated LED lights with bladeless fans). Bedroom 4 has remote operated LED lights and 2 table fans. Beds: -- 2nd floor: has 2 Bedrooms with queen beds each, living room with one queen couch pull out bed and 1 twin size day bed. -- 3rd floor: has 1 king, 2 queen beds and 1 queen couch pull out bed, 1 queen airbed Bathrooms 2 Full Baths (with Showers): -- 2nd Floor: 1 regular size bath Hot tub Jacuzzi - fits 2 people. -- 3rd Floor: 1 Bathroom (Standing Shower and Toilet). Please read the full listing description and enter the correct number of guests and pets when booking to ensure accurate pricing. When requesting to book, briefly add a brief note about the purpose of your visit and confirm that you’ve reviewed the description, parking details, and house rules. Unauthorized guests or pets are not permitted. At the end of the driveway, there is a side entrance door with the passcode lock. Entry and exit must be done through this door only. Guests can enjoy the rooms and also a backyard with table chairs. I can provide Gas grill and portable fire pit for free when needed. Get togethers are OK during the weekend. This is a very quiet neighborhood so guests must be cognizant about this. I can provide a gas grill and portable fire pit for free which has to be cleaned after use. This may not be suitable for very loud music indoors. Laundry is in the basement. The laundry washer and dryer have labels with Unit # on it. Parking: Before booking, please read through the parking description, dimensions of the closed garage and review the picture of parking spaces to plan your parking. 1 closed parking (garage remote will be available once you enter the unit) and 2 driveway parking. - One Closed Garage: There are 3 garages. You can park 1 car inside the rightmost garage The closed garage is a standard size garage (please scroll down to see the dimensions). You can park SUV, sedan or compact car easily. I used to have long term tenants who parked their 7-seater Volvo minivan in it. If you are new to this space, then you can certainly try to park minivan or any other vehicle with over 6 seats however it will be difficult to do so. So, please park larger vehicles (over 6 seats) on the driveway. To pull out only the car that is inside the garage, you have to first pull out your car(s) parked on the driveway first so if there is a need to frequently pull out only the car parked inside the garage then it is best not park inside; you can park either on the driveway or I can arrange for street parking permit. Closed garage dimensions: Garage Entrance Dimensions : 96 inches W (8 Ft); 96 Inches H (8 FT). Garage Dimensions: 108 Inches W (9 Ft) x 224 Inches L (18.6 Ft). Car hood at the end of the garage: Height 52 Inch (4.3 Ft). Length 55 Inch (4.5 ft). - Two Driveway Parking Spaces: Located in front of the middle and the rightmost garage. Please do not park in front of the leftmost garage because my car is parked inside the leftmost garage and parking here will block my car. Please maneuver your car carefully on the driveway at all times as the space is very limited and get help from someone if your vehicle is big. Guests have parked here comfortably. Please do not attempt to park more than 2 cars on the driveway because it is not possible with space provided and also avoid parking on the backyard lawn grass. The driveway parking spot has been widened by about 5 feet with pavers, giving larger vehicles like a 7‑seater minivan more room to maneuver when pulling in or out. Please do not park your cars on the backyard grass lawn. You can park bicycles on the lawn grass. For your own safety, please do not leave any valuables inside the car and always lock your car. Free street parking is available. Free permit is needed for weekdays overnight parking from 2 AM to 5 AM. No need of permits for weekend overnight parking. For weekday parking, we need to reserve in advance; I can do that once I receive your license plate number, state of registration, Vehicle Make and Model. For your own safety, please do not leave any valuables inside the car and always lock your car. Pets: Pet fee indicated is for one pet per stay. Please do not bring a pet and expect not to pay a fee. In the past, guests have debated about it with reasons such as - we are only here 2 days, it is a very small dog, the dog will stay with our local relatives (which btw never happened; the dog stayed in the unit) etc. etc. I have always charged the fee. I usually send a payment request and if the guest does not respond then I ask support who in turn will charge the credit card of the guest. We can avoid all the awkwardness if you just pay the fee upfront during reservation and enjoy your stay with your pet(s). Also if you decide to bring a pet after you booked the place, then you can alter the reservation to add the pet. If you have more than one pet, then please contact me. You must provide details of the pets before the booking to check if it is OK to bring them. Cats and dogs are allowed. Pets must be trained. The nails must be trimmed. The pet must not harm or threaten other guests/ host on this property and neighbors. Some neighbors have pets so the guests must watch their pets to avoid conflicts. With some responsibility, you can enjoy your stay along with your pets. IMPORTANT: Please bring your own pet bed or blanket. Pets are not allowed to use the beds, couches, blankets or other furniture for sleeping. I do not have pets myself. Aggressive pets are not permitted. Internet: 1000 Mbps fiber internet and 3 Mesh Routers provide good internet connection throughout the unit. Televisions: There are 2 Smart TVs. One 75 inch Smart TV in the 2nd floor living room and and other 55 inch Smart TV in the Bedroom 4 on the 3rd floor. There are non-recording noise monitoring devices in the unit to ensure that noise does not exceed a certain level during quite hours. This is the first suburb north of the city of Milwaukee on the shores of Lake Michigan - bordered by Lake Michigan on the east, the Milwaukee River on the west, and the Village of Whitefish Bay to the north. The village was originally incorporated in 1900 as the Village of East Milwaukee, making Shorewood the fourth oldest suburb in the Milwaukee area. The name of the Village was changed to Shorewood in 1917.

We hosted my sister’s bachelorette party of 16 girls at Lokesh’s. We all fit comfortably and felt conveniently located close to the city while also having easy suburban access to amenities like the beach. I would highly recommend!

This stay was clean and comfortable and Lokesh was extremely helpful and communicative. Although he lives in the other unit in the building and there is shared driveway and stairwells, the stay still felt very private and is in a beautiful neighborhood walkable to the beach, restaurants, etc.
